With just 10 bures, Navini Island Resort is always quiet and secluded – even during high season. This Fiji Island Resort’s average number of guests is 20 and looked after by more than 24 staff!
This quant, picturesque island is located in the Mamanuca group of islands and easily accessible from the mainland. Navini offers airport pick up and boat transfers direct to the island as required. Being more of a home than a resort, Navini has always been kept small and personal.
What you’ll find here is Fijian hospitality like no other, you will immediately become part of the family and explore the island and its surrounds as if its your own. Discover the reef sanctuary at your leisure, right from the beach in front of your bure. Complimentary use of snorkelling equipment is available, as are spyboards and kayaks with viewing windows to explore the underwater world. The water is normally clear and excellent for snorkelling, with an average visibility of 20 metres. With this amazing reef sanctuary surrounding the island you’ll spend most days adventuring into the sea.
Once again Navini Island Resort has been recognised by TripAdvisor as one of the Top Hotels in Fiji for Service 2019. Meaning Navini is in the top 1% of hotels based on the options of millions of travellers.
Navini Island Resort offers 4 types of accomodation, Premier, Deluxe Premier, Two room Bure & Family Bure.
All bures are near the water’s edge, so it’s just a few steps from your bed to the beach. Surrounded by coconut palms, shady trees and tropical flowers, this light and breezy island accommodation is also very private.
Every bure has its own shady verandah with comfortable outdoor furniture, while an inviting hammock is just metres away. A few more steps towards the water and you find the bure’s own hatched beach umbrella and sun lounges. The rooms themselves have ceiling fans plus many large, adjustable louvre windows that allow guests to catch the ocean breezes. All bures have private bathrooms, a bar fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities.
The Premier and Deluxe Premier Bure’s are best suited to couples, whilst the Two Room and Family Bure’s are great for families or small groups.
With complimentary fruit basket on arrival, wrap-around sulu for each guest, daily activities including boat and cultural outings, use of all non-motorised equipment and wi-fi in the dining area.
Dining Navini offers guests the choice of either two or three meal-plan each day, charged daily so the choice is yours on the day. The menu changes daily using local produce all freshly prepared on the island. Most choose to dine with fellow guests in the communal open-air dining room, or choose an intimate setting on your verandah or beachfront.
There is a complimentary activity on offer each morning for those looking for an outing or cultural experience. The destination changes each day, and is written up on the board in the dining room in time for breakfast.
A favourite boat activity is out towards the famous surf spot, Cloudbreak where sometimes dolphins are seen, followed by a snorkel in brilliantly blue water over remote, unspoilt reef. Spinner dolphins often play near the Malolo barrier reef, sometimes swimming in the bow waves of the boat.
Why not take a nature walk to learn about the traditional uses of local plants. Make toffee from freshly grated coconut or learn about local foods with a cooking lesson from one of the island’s staff. Or learn how to weave a basket from a coconut frond.
Fish, Scuba, Surf and more! With Navini’s perfect location, it’s in close proximity to many attractions that draw people to Fiji. Whatever your desire, the team at Navini will help you discover Fiji.
